Health Equity International 2025 Celebration
HEI’s Annual Celebration was held on Thursday, October 23rd, at St. Cecilia Parish Hall in Boston, MA.
Thank you for another great year!
On Thursday, October 23, 2025, more than 150 of Health Equity International/St. Boniface Hospital’s community members came together for our annual Celebration at Saint Cecilia Parish Hall in Boston, Massachusetts.
During a brief but impactful program, attendees learned how staff at SBH have continued to save lives through extreme hardship in Haiti and a radically changed global health landscape. Despite unprecedented obstacles to delivering care, our heroic team worked harder than ever to ensure every patient received the compassionate, dignified, and high-quality health services they deserve.
We were also pleased to honor Sharon McNally for her tireless work for our organization and so many others.
From fostering the next generation of leaders at Camp Harbor View to helping Health Equity International navigate tremendous challenges posed by the ongoing humanitarian crisis in Haiti, Sharon’s impact knows no bounds. It has been an honor to work alongside her, and we are grateful for her unwavering support.
The evening concluded with a Fund-a-Need, where dozens of supporters pledged support to keep St. Boniface Hospital a beacon of hope in Haiti. As President and CEO Conor Shapiro reminded attendees, our organization was created by a small group of everyday people who saw a problem and decided to do something about it. Little by little, person by person, year after year, dollar by dollar, we created the largest remaining hospital in Haiti. And every day, that hospital is making a difference.
