St. Boniface Receives Another 4-Star Rating

HEI/SBH was recently notified that it received another 4-star rating from Charity Navigator, the nation’s largest independent charity evaluator. This is the seventh consecutive year that the organization has received a 4-star rating from Charity Navigator. For an organization to receive four out of a possible four stars, it must consistently illustrate good governance and other best practices that minimize the chance of unethical activities, and it must consistently execute its mission in a fiscally responsible way. Only 2 percent of charities assessed by Charity Navigator have received at least seven consecutive 4-star evaluations.

HEI/SBH President and CEO Conor Shapiro attributed the award largely to a strength of staff:

“We are proud to have a four star rating from Charity Navigator as we pride ourselves on being an organization that spends our donations as efficiently and effectively as possible,” he said. “This has been a team effort here at St. Boniface and I am grateful to our dedicated and talented staff.”
