On Monday, January 20th, SBH’s Director General, Dr. Inobert Pierre, joined a panel discussion on the Al Jazeera show The Stream. The topic of the show is how the Haitian healthcare system has changed—if at all—since the devastating earthquake in 2010, and how the system can be improved going forward. The program also highlighted the high-quality healthcare that is delivered at St. Boniface Hospital every day. Dr. Pierre was joined by Sandra Lamarque, Haiti Head of Mission Doctors Without Borders, and Franck Généus, the President of the Private Hospital Association of Haiti.
