Major Flooding in Fond des Blancs

Major flooding this week in Fond des Blancs—heavy rains Tuesday night washed out the road to the hospital and destroyed many crops in the area. With people still suffering from the massive crop destruction during Hurricane Matthew, this is another blow to food security in the region. Our teams with Build Health International are patching up the road to make sure patients can get to the hospital, but the damage to people’s livelihoods is unfixable.
