Dr. Pierre Abdias Jules

Chief of Surgery

A dark-skinned man smiles at the camera. He is wearing light blue v-neck scrubs, a silver necklace, and a green surgical cap. He has a short mustache..

Dr. Jules grew up in Port-au-Prince, where he earned his medical degree from Université Lumière MEBSH. He then completed a surgery residency at Hôpital Universitaire de la Paix. Dr. Jules became a full-time surgeon at St. Boniface Hospital in 2019, working under the mentorship of former Chief of Surgery Dr. Michelson Padovany. Although at first it was a little difficult for him to be in an environment so different from Port-au-Prince, he liked the way “all of the staff work with their whole hearts”. Dr. Jules was chosen to become St. Boniface Hospital’s new Chief of Surgery in 2021. He is passionate about maintaining the highest quality surgical care while meeting the ever-growing demand.
