Haitian band Lakou Mizik used the release of their new music video to raise funds for Health Equity International/St. Boniface Hospital's earthquake relief efforts. The video is for their latest single, titled "No Rival"—a "firey tribute to rara music", according to the band's label Anjunadeep. About the decision to support HEI/SBH, the band said in a statement:
“The recent earthquake in the south of Haiti has not only been a tragedy but also a traumatizing event for all of us who live through the earthquake in 2010. It hits us at such a hard time for Haiti that sometimes as Haitians we can start to lose hope. But when we see images of doctors working so hard to save lives and we see the strength of our people coming together to help each other we know we will always stand strong. We are proud to support this Haitian- led organization that has saved so many lives – Mesi anpil! Kenbe Djam (Stay strong)."
